This place has been on my radar to try for a while and we finally decided to check it out. First off, the sushi here is incredible. Super fresh and colorful with amazing presentations. We tried the all-you-can-eat deal and some options off the regular menu too. For AYCE sushi, this was the best I've had in the area. AYCE isn't limited to sushi and there's a bunch of dishes you can try as well. For us, service was great. We went on a slow day for lunch and the entire experience was fantastic. I see there's some negative reviews about service, but that wasn't the case for us. Here's what we had: Crispy Calamari: 5/5 Hot, perfectly crispy, flavorful, large portion. Would definitely order again. Crab Rangoon: 4/5 Creamy and indulgent with the perfect crunch. For my taste, they were a bit on the sweet side but I'm sure others would love that. Shrimp & Vegetable Tempura: 5/5 Light, crispy batter with fresh ingredients. Cool presentation. Tuna Tartare Tower: 10/5 (yes, it's that good) This was hands-down the highlight of the night. Layers of fresh tuna, creamy avocado, and three types of tobiko. It's a visual masterpiece and a flavor bomb in every bite. Godzilla Roll, Norwegian Salmon Sashimi, & Yellowtail Jalapeño Sashimi: 5/5 Fresh, vibrant, spicy, and expertly prepared. The yellowtail had just the right kick of heat from the jalapeño, and the Godzilla Roll is simply addictive. The wild-caught salmon from Norway exceeded expectations. Sweetheart Roll: 5/5 Yes, it's a tuna avocado roll shaped like hearts. Perfect for sharing especially if you're here for a date night. Hibachi Combo (Maine Lobster Tail, Shrimp, and Scallops): 5/5 Huge Maine lobster tail. The seafood was cooked to perfection. Worth the price! Banana & Oreo Tempura: 5/5 I enjoyed fried Oreos more than I thought I would! Pro Tip: Try the all-you-can-eat menu. It's one of the best deals around for the quality of the sashimi, specialty rolls, and kitchen dishes that you can get. We'll definitely be going back.

No. 1 Sushi in DE far exceeded my expectations. When we walked in, I found the restaurant cleaner and more modern than most AYCE sushi places I have visited before. We immediately sat and got paper slips to check different menu options. Below are some of the things we ordered, including seaweed salad, sushi, tempura, hibachi, and matcha/red bean ice cream. All of the items were excellent but nothing compared to omakase or high-quality sushi restaurants. However, for the sticker price and ambiance, I would definitely recommend No. 1 Sushi and visit again!

I've been to this place at least 5 times in the last few months for AYCE and the food was consistently good from sashimi, sushi, the roll, beef teriyaki & other hot food we ordered. The service was good and efficient. My son just brought his friends here last weekend and they enjoyed the food very much. That's why the restaurant is called No 1 sushi.

The food is reasonably priced. Sushi is way better than other nearby Japanese restaurants. We usually get a take out and always liked their food so we finally sat and eat. The place is gorgeous with nice touches. I would go back and try the all you can eat sushi!

We use to drive by but once we found out it was all you can eat sushi we decided to stop in to give it a try! $34 per person currently which is on the higher end but not terrible. The veggie tempura I could have gone without the broccoli but the sweet potato and zucchini was delicious. Kani salad was good! Could've shared portion if I wanted to. Then we ordered the dragon roll; elk avocado was delicious we added cream cheese made it even better, angry dragon roll; mango shrimp tempura such a good spicy sweet combo but didn't taste spicy at all, alligator roll; salmon avocado with crunch and ell was good, diamond roll; tuna salmon avocado with 3 kinds of caviar on top was my favorite roll simple but the caviar on top adds more taste. The sushimi was ok, i would do without both tuna sushimi orders. Sushi pieces were delicious and rice was fresh. Overall a great experience. We will be back for sure!

$37 per person for all you can eat sushi is pretty steep, but really if you order 3 special rolls you are already coming out ahead. Order some sashimi and you win the game Sashimi and sushi are all made to order and feel fresh Other items on the menu are fun to eat while you wait for the star of the show (sushi/sashimi) to show up We were the only people in here and our waiter was nowhere to be found, which was fine because we placed a massive order from the get go Interior is freshly painted and feels clean but you can tell the seats are made with cheap wayfair style couch material There are lots of restaurants offering sushi in the area but I would come here again specifically for the all you can eat sushi Oh yeah, don't get the crispy calamari. I should have taken a picture of it but trust me - it was horrendous.
